It's disappointing that people--even/especially those with college educations--can only see the world through their own eyes.

The speech is nice and cute, but as much as it pains me to say it, 11W did a very nice rebuttal. While I may not agree with everything that was said, the idea that what the OSU players did wasn't wrong, he did bring up a point as to why some of these players do what they do, and surprise surprise background has to do with it

Cousins speech reminds me of the crap that some dipshit suck-up would say when giving a high school commencement address.  A bunch of old crackers might shed a tear and clasp him heartily on the shoulder because he "gets it".  Meanwhile, anybody with the knowledge of where he comes from (upper middle class private-school upbringing) would be more surprised to hear him challenging the conventions of the current system than extolling the virtues of an outmoded protestant work ethic and fake humility.  May Mike Martin, BWC, Van Bergen, and Roe endlessly pummel this douche bag into oblivion.  Please God, please.
