"Any time you talk about your hometown and the stories are all horror stories," Rose says, "there definitely has to be some change. I'm just trying to be one person to help, influencing in a positive way."
Fantastic story. For the record, while his goal of graduating all 120 kids in the first class seems lofty and even unrealistic, it can and HAS been done. Urban Prep Academy in the inner city of Chicago not only graduated all 107 students in its inaugural class, but had 100% accepted into 4 year universities.
