  • Northern teams should secede: There will never be a baseball game in Ann Arbor on June 12.
  • Michigan should win the world series and take off: "We've got the belt."
  • Sam vs. dodgeball. Dennis from the OC calls in.
  • NBA Draft: Feel bad for Charles. Sucks that guy can't heal up and go back to college. Still think he might be the most successful of the trio.
  • Big recruiting weekend for football. Juwan offering a lot of five-stars.

It is a shame that college baseball is scheduled and run the way it is. I happened to have some time on my hands in 1976 and saw a lot of great baseball.

Michigan was real good with Rick Leach in right field providing a lot of exposure.

Eastern Michigan was just loaded with pitchers Bob Owchinko, Bob Welch and Glen Gulliver in the infield, all of whom had nice professional careers.

Eastern took us out of the region and then lost twice in the World Series to national champion Arizona.

We had big fun going to ballgames at both fields that year.
