1. Football

starts at 1:00

On Michigan's side only Nico seems like any shot at a 1st rounder, guys who declared and seniors are expected to play. On Bama's side, Jerry Jeudy said he'll play, and they have three projected first round receivers and eight guys projected in the 1st round who have a choice to make. Tarik Black leaving could mean Nico and DPJ are leaning toward staying? Receivers of the future: we'll see but Michigan can use their slots more.

Don Brown interviewed for BC job, went to OSU's DC (not Matty) so what happens with Mattison?

2. Louisville, Iowa, and Illinois

starts at 26:52

UL was a schedule loss: forced Teske to make threes or long two's with high hedges. Counterintuitive to blitz X because he's not a great shooter. Someone else with athletes will try this. Iowa: highest-scoring Big Ten regulation game since 2002. Michigan is balanced; Iowa is not because Michigan and Iowa both had the same gameplan. 44 points by Garza: an arena record? You coach to the game. Illinois: Michigan doesn't hit their threes, Kofi Cockburn is a problem. Lewis Garrison literally knocked out of this one; other two refs clearly capable of doing a better job with him off the court.

3. Hot Takes and Oregon

starts at 59:42

David's hot take voice is extremely British. Craig thought the Oregon game was one of the loudest ever. Craig advocates for a huge lineup with Johns & Franz with Livers at the 2. Impressed by Pritchard, who's the first guy to run X off the line. Two insanely long reviews.

4. Expectations

starts at 1:36:32

Johns could be a season-changer. Brooks's floater game isn't so efficient that you can discount DDJ taking more of his minutes down the line. Castleton is falling out of rotation as they find something they want in Johns. Trip around the Big Ten: Minnesota and Penn State are going to be tough to beat on the road, Ohio State looks like a real #1 thanks to Wesson.

I think it's incredibly specious to think Collins and DPJ are staying in school.  With the way the staff has used them in playcalls thus far they would be risking millions of dollars.. each.  I would be stunned if they stayed, because it would be a really odd decision.

DPJ has always seemed like a three year player, which is why it's so alarming how Michigan utilized his incredible skills.  Collins has shown he's an NFL player this year, simple as that.

Coming back is risky in the sense that they could get hurt, but playcalling isn't going to make a difference.  Teams draft on the potential they see in a player, not based on what his statline was.

Who knows, you could be right.

But the thought isn't specious since all signs are that both are leaning to staying in AA right now.

The WR NFL draft group is very strong. Draft Tech has Nico at # 159, near the end of the 5th round, and DPJ at #133, earlier in round 5. As far as I can tell this is a pretty ordinary ranking for them. Now, maybe this will change. But do these guys, with potential first or second round talent, come out to be drafted in the 4th+ round? Note that the price of a 5th round pick is $ 250k-$ 350k up front and a total of about 2.9M. Round 2? 1.3M to 3.5M up front and 4.5M to 7.8M in total. So, the delta might be worth the risk to them.

This may be a joke.  Doesn't seem like a joke though?

I'll assume it's serious and ask if you've had children?  When you have young kids, they get sick with everything, and you get sick with everything.  I went from being one of those "I never get sick" guys, to one who felt like he was sick for 75% of the winter.

Isn't it amazing when you come out of it, and it's like holy shit I'm not tired or sore or lamenting all the bullshit I have to do today despite being sick.  You get a pinch of time in that zone, then you start with another runny nose or cough and you're like, "this can't be happening again, it's the last vestiges of the former thing and it'll be gone tomorrow."  Then tomorrow is another 7 days away because yessir it's some other bullshit.

Love it that someone does an English accent and the only place in England that anyone can think of off the cuff is "somewhere... like... London".

I liked Craig on this.  Who needs that Brian guy?

Craig's voice sounds different on this pod than on the Roundtable, like he's significantly younger than the ancient being he's portrayed as on the Rt.

I appreciate your sponsors supporting the program but Underground Printing has to update their AD.  I run back to my computer just to fast forward through it every time it comes on.  I even shop frequently at UP but (sacrilege) the Bo clip is too much to hear so often.

Thank you
