| 1 week 1 day ago | These facts - particularly the Pryor All Big 10 when he scored |
Single digits on his NFL Wonderlick test should get much more attention. Ohio State and the Big Ten academics should suffer intense embarassment for having an illiterate player held up as an All Big Ten representative of academic achievement |

I'm confused |

plus midwest families with talented players interested in education will jump at the alternative. If they really want to freak out the NCAA status quo they should work with MLB to get the draft moved. More exposure for their free farm system is precious to the other pro leagues |
| 1 year 3 weeks ago | I love this idea. How can we get it more coverage/traction |
More scholarships would be great but would be tough on the big east, CUSA and MAC schools we would invite to join us.
where would big ten quality baseball compare to the options? |
| 1 year 28 weeks ago | Tom Archdeacon is a great writer - hard to believe |
he is still here in Dayton. Naturally he knows Roundtree and Shaw from their Dayton days. |
| 2 years 27 weeks ago | I think it is GREAT news that the division names suck so bad - |
now people will resort to calling the divisions the Michigan division and the Ohio St division (or Wolverine / Buckeye). Immediately clear which group your talking about. |
| 2 years 29 weeks ago | Point #1 is significant enough that it should be mentioned |
(along with kicking) as a positive for this offense. Think about what you said "Starting field position does not affect the likelyhood of this offense scoring points". If that were true for all teams then the game of football would be played much differently. Essentially, there would be almost no punting or long kickoffs. Given our D performance this may not be a bad idea. |
| 2 years 30 weeks ago | The loudest Boo on Saturday |
The loudest Boo on Saturday came during a Third Quarter timeout when the West Lafayette weather man walked onto the field and spoke to the crowd over the loud speakers. ("I'm XYZ weatherman from News 7. ....) Purdue fans, Michigan fans, I think even the players were booing him. Pretty funny. Not funny that he had forcast 64degrees and cloudy with the possibility of some late afternoon showers. Then we sat in a 44 degree, windy driving rainstorm for 3 hours. If Michigan had scored when we threw the pick 6 before half the stadium would have been empty for the second half. people were getting ready to leave when that pulled them back into the game. |
| 2 years 31 weeks ago | An adjustment to your offensive stats - Scoring |
Remove defensive and special teams scores from the offensive scoring totals (OSU has at least 4tds). Offense has nothing to do with these.
I think projecting how many points M has lost to below average FG and xtra point kicking to our total would also give a more realistic read of the offense. |
| 2 years 31 weeks ago | I think DeAnthony's routine was hilarius - until he clicks on |
the Freep article at the end - that goes way too far and is unforgiveable.
No excuse for supporting that rag. |

| 2 years 34 weeks ago | Bonus point to Demons: He was doing this without Mike Martin ... |
destroying the interior of the OLine (like he had in every game other than Iowa this season)
|
| 2 years 45 weeks ago | Shorter lines. Sounds great. How about passing out free water - |
IN bottles, once inside. At 0.10/bottle the expense would be minimal and the goodwill would be great. |
| 3 years 5 weeks ago | Why is there no effort to keep same conference teams from |
meeting in the second round? |
| 3 years 5 weeks ago | The enemy? |
John Wangler and Les Miles were in Ann Arbor last week, and both clearly are pushing the "Rich is done after this year" adjenda. Lots of joking about Les 'coming home'. This makes me want to vomit. Personally, I this Les is as likely to get fired after this year as Rich is. And if I were king (or AD) and had it to do over again, I would still take RR before Les. |
| 3 years 22 weeks ago | Note that Bo explains Michigan's early season 1981 problems |
by citing injuries, lack of depth and youth. Certainly that team had more depth on D than we did in '09. I assume Michigan fans were all over him for making excuses, quoting Yost about how the expectation is for the position, not the player... |
| 3 years 30 weeks ago | Warren started the year plaing like an elite corner, but he has |
not been at that level since Iowa. Not sure why. |
| 3 years 32 weeks ago | Saban recruited 83 defensive players. Add 1 kicker and 1 Punter |
(total 85) and I assume he didn't recruit any offensive players. Obviously going over 85 would be disingenuous, and I know Saban would never do such a thing. |
| 3 years 32 weeks ago | Coaches got a sneak peak at Witty - and now he will return a |
a year older and a year further removed from his knee surgery. Players get much closer to full strength in the second year. If they liked him OK as a true frosh this fall, he should be in the mix for BooBoo's spot after a winter with Barwis and a full spring/fall practice schedule. |
| 4 years 16 weeks ago | Speaking of available Scholies - Alabama signed another 27 |
this year. We know they were Full last season. How do we expect them to work through the graduate/cut numbers in order to fit all 27 into school. Next year, when they need to get rid of 27 more, how will they explain the attrition? Why doesn't this up or out system cause them to have very low academic advancement scores (wasn't that the whole point?) |
| 4 years 26 weeks ago | He was not accepted into school |
Michigan (Rich) helped place him at Tulsa when he couldn't enroll |
