i think 1/3 of that
inversely proportional to the amount of alcoholic drinks consumed on Friday night.
I think it would be a shame if we only got 1/3 of 60,000 people to show up. We are MICHIGAN and to think people won't come out and enjoy everything thats going on is a SHAME.
I will do the math for you:
1/3 of 60,000 = 20,000
this is the INTERWEBS and there is NO PLACE for concepts such as MATH.
Just epinion... right?
He's certainly not sugar coating it.
I'd like to think you're joking, but based on the avatar, sadly it doesn't seem you are.
I think 40K is a high estimate, but possible.
10-20K. They already said its not going to be a "game". They already said they're not going to show off the entire playbook. Its the day before Easter.
AFAIK the U hasn't done the best job marketing this shin-dig beyond the Ann Arbor/campus scene. If you want to get people to show up, you have to do a better job of outreach. Ads in the radio, magazines, newspapers, local tv and all that jazz. Then again, I rarely read newspapers, magazines, watch TV or listen to the radio so maybe there are ads and I just ain't seen 'em
I'm guesstimating (based not even on flimsy evidence -- yea, a complete lack thereof!) ~20,000
That they were having Jazz there?!
This is why the Firefly Club moved closer to the stadium
I bet 30k is a good bet. I mean the old ones drew about 10-15k.
I think they'd get 107,501 if Tate and Denard ran dueling 40s to settle the argument among the mgoblog community.
I'm guessing 25,000. Due to the fact that RR said its a scrimmage, not a game, and several of the stars will see limited action.
Yeah, that and all of the pregame stuff that's supposed to attract a bigger crowd starts way too early.
I bet there are maybe 35k people "intending to go."
Once Saturday morning rolls around, half of them will wake up with nasty hangovers or general weekend morning apathy.
I say 20,000 show up, if the weather cooperates.
