Dee Hart RE-committing??

Submitted by BKFinest on

Take it for what it's worth, but apparently Rod Smith had an in-house with Dee after the game and apparently has him back on board. The situation is fluid, but the text I got said from a connected source said " Will Campbell, 2010 version - Dee to recommit to Mich @ Army All American game."

TomVH? Any legs?

EDIT: Also picked up by GBW. http://michigan.scout.com/a.z?s=162&p=2&c=1028124&ssf=1&RequestedURL=ht…

I can't imagine how well RR would be recruiting at Michigan if he had one non controversial season.  How does he get guys like Dee Hart under the circumstances.  He and his staff are great recruiters.  If he happens to make it one more season, and Michigan has a 9 wins or better then lookout.  The ball will be rolling and we will again be a perennial top 10 team.

Just got off the phone with his sister Melissa Joan Hart. She said to stop calling and has no idea who Dee Hart is. I followed that up with a YOU AREN"T FOOLING ME SABRINA. Lots of Hart's in the phone book but I'll keep trying.

I absolutely love Dee's running style and stats, and from all the interviews/comments I've read, I think he's a level-headed, smart, respectful person who is lucky to be surrounded by caring friends and family.  I know he'll make the decision that HE thinks is right, and hopefully doesn't let outsiders (other than close friends and family) influence him, whether it be by negative recruiting, promise of playing time (as RR says, all you can do is promise that he'll have a chance to *compete* for playing time), or more unscrupulous methods.

What I have to keep telling myself is that a lot can change until someone is on campus, and thus we should not get too down if someone says they're heading somewhere else, and likewise we shouldn't all get too high if someone says that he might re-commit.  It's fun to speculate and hope for good recruits, but let's try to stay away from huge mgoboard mood swings.

Dee -- do what you and your family think is best, and follow what your heart and brain tell you to do. Nobody can fault you if that's what you do.
