Ho Jeeze: Please No Rain for Ann Arbor on Saturday
I wish I could send some southern California weather to Ann Arbor for Saturday, but it looks like it'll be cool, dry and with only 10% chance of rain, so thank Christ for that.
Wisconsin is fully aware of Michigan's struggles to hang on to the damn football this year (and last year, and the year before that).
Bret Bielema:
"Bottom line, on Saturday Indiana had some turnovers and we didn't. I think it was a point of emphasis that our guys carried forward to the game. Michigan had five turnovers on Saturday, and I know our guys will be aware of it."
Also from the MJS article:
Michigan is 1-2 at home in Big Ten play. The losses came in consecutive weeks - 34-17 to Michigan State and 38-28 to Iowa. The common factors in the two losses: Michigan couldn't stop the run and couldn't protect the football.
How true that is - and not a little bit depressing.

I thought it was a reference to my favorite character from Best in Show, Gerry Fleck...

Telling everyone Rich's offense works fine in Big Ten weather? Now we're using weather as an excuse and praying for sunshine in November?

Exactly, because it's been firmly established that "Rich's offense" = the cause of the entirety of this team's turnover issues.

No thanks, SoCal weather.... 40s and no rain is perfect weather for football! The last few seasons have seen some NASTY weather for the late November games. But this year, IMO, has been perfect. September was unusually cool... not once did I sit up there and boil in the sun (I sit in the north endzone up high... we fry to a crisp up there in September), and it has not rained. Personally, when it comes to football, I'll take 30s or 40s over 80s and 90s any day of the week.

doesn't matter.
If you are in the spread or power I: running forward with the football is running forward with the football.
Just hold onto the damn ball.

Stop feeding the idea that we need nice weather and Wisconsin doesn't. We turned the ball over 5 times against Purdue in bad weather. We turned the ball over 5 times against Illinois in perfect weather. Stop saying we need to move the University of Michigan to Arizona. Just HANG ON TO THE DAMN BALL.
