MGoBlog on Kindle
The only hit for "Kindle" in the search was a year old, and indicated some hiccups.

For those of you with the latest Kindle (I'm thinking of getting one), does MGoBlog show up well for you? How about with a Nook?

I tried it back then, it was not great. You could see most main page text, embedded items not so much. You could not comment, and I believe you could not even access comments and boards. Could not follow links, etc... If you have a new fangle phone it would probably be a better option than a kindle for MGoBlog.
That aside, the kindle is great for reading books and easy to travel with. I did have my first one die after about 6 months, amazon sent me a replacement next day air.

Too bad about MGoBlog (at least then), but great to hear the rest about the Kindle. My eyesight is terrible, so I'm a bit nervous to make the jump and buy the wrong one for my eyes, but the latest Kindle seems really easy on my eyes. I guess MGoBlog would just be a nice bonus, but not a deal-breaker by any means.
Thanks for the response.

Is super easy on the eye. No backlighting means no glare - almost like paper. You can adjust font size too. You will not regret pulling the trigger on Kindle - especially now with a 139 bucks price.

I had not even thought of mGoblog on my Kindle because:
1. Whats the fun in reading a Michigan blog without maize and blue on the screen
2. I have always thought of MGoBlog to be very media rich and I don't think Kindle will do justice to it
3. Now that we have an iphone app - I don't see any situation where I will have to default to Kindle as my viewer of choice

On a generation 2 Kindle, it displayed not so pretty. I haven't tried it on my new gen 3 but everything I *have* tried with the gen-3 browser has been much better, so you might be able to get to comments and stuff. Embedded video thought I'm guessing probably not, and the lack of color for photos is not ideal. Net: an advance over gen-2 but not the best way to get to your MGoLife on the fly.
If you happen to have an iPhone the new MGoApp is definitely the way to go (although good luck getting it to work anywhere near the stadium). Looks great (better than the website itself at least on the phone), easy to navigate, video works jus swell.
PS I love love LOVE the gen-3 Kindle otherwise.

The latest kindle has an actual web browser (webkit-based, if I remember correctly).

Thanks all.
(And I'd absolutely love an iPad or iPhone, but I'm stuck with my BlackBerry.)

Go with the iPad - you won't regret it.
