Nebraska & Notre Dame Night Tickets?

There's no definite Nebraska game next year, and if there is one, it may be away. That said, a night game against the Cornhuskers at home would be awesome.

These are marquee match-ups that demand and will receive a massive audience. It is very unlikely these tickets will be available for public purchase, since the victor's club members, then season ticket holders, will have first dibs to purchase extra tickets.

In fact, for games with that level of demand, not even all Victors Club members get the opportunity for those single games. Probably something like only the top 30% of Victors Club point totals will get ticket offers. (No, you cannot trade MGoPoints for Victors Club points.)

Indeed, "almost certainly not" is my guess.
BUT... my guess is that 2011 WILL offer people an historic opportunity to buy into new season tickets. The 2011 season should complete the shakeout in movement within the bowl to accomodate wider aisles, handrails and adjusted seating.
All those OSU "seats" from 2009? Those (to a great extent) are all of the Athletic Department's "banked" seats; a process they've been working on for about 4-5 years. The ones that aren't absorbed into the bowl-area renovations will be coming back on line for sale. Not as three-game packages but as real season tickets that can be renewed.
So get your donations in soon to the Victors Club!

If the department has anything to say about it, we will NOT be playing Nebraska @ home next season. The university already has a problem in that ND and OSU are on the same schedule (either both home or both away). The dept. will want to stagger a NU game so that we would have NU and MSU at home one year and ND and OSU at home the next. I would be a lot of money they don't want ND, NU, and OSU at home all the same year. The off year home schedule would suffer too much.

Still, who says we'll play Nebraska every year, rotating home-and-away? As of now, they don't even know how to divide the Conference into divisions.

MSU tickets were available this year as long as you got them as part of that package.
