OT- NCAA 11 xbox

Submitted by ToledoBlue on

Was just looking at new features for Ncaa 11 and as usual EA will be getting 60 bucks from me this year. I like to join online dynasties but they are usually poorly run or people quit after half the season. I was wondering if there's one already in place for the MGoBlog community or some people that want to participate in one when the game comes out July 13th.

I was thinking something like only 1 or 2 star teams or only teams from a lower conference.  If anyone's interested we can all vote on rules, teams, what have you. Have games every 2 or 3 days, no cheesy plays, etc.  That is all

I have been having the "itch" to play recently so I fired up both NCAA 2010 and Madden 2010.

If you pay close attention to what is going on in NCAA this year, it seems like they are trying to add some Madden 2010 features to the game (with the whole realistic motion / momentum feature).

I feel like EA cr@ps on NCAA every year, and typically if something is in Madden the year before (and works well with the public), it will be in NCAA the next year.

FWIW, Madden 2010 is a much superior game to NCAA 2010 - so hopefully NCAA 2011 picks up some of that Madden charm (I think it will).

I really have always enjoyed the single player dynasty. Thats just me. I am a bit old school(if you cant tell from NES paints). I don't need online stuff to keep me happy. I havent bought this game in the past three years due to it not changing a thing but this year looks like they have finally raised the bar and I look forward to picking up my copy.

The problem is recruiting is too easy. I went 11-1 in my first year, and got the #1 recruiting class in the country. I didn't even have a single 3 star in that class. They were all 4 or 5 stars.  I'm 8-1 right now, and have the #1 recruiting class in the country by a mile. They need to change it up. Those are both without using promises too, which supposedly make it much easier to get players. Even with bad teams, after a couple years you can recruit very well.

I commished two seperate leagues last year, one that was all big ten and one from the ground up.  I can certainly commit to play, when it comes out, count me in.

I would also like to play in an online dynasty. I'm not too fond of the 1 and 2 star teams only though, but I suppose I could give it a try if there are no other options.

Also, I was on the OS forums and saw somewhere one of the game developers said there will be a recruiting difficulty slider, hopefully this is true.

Ok so I looked rather quickly and didn't see a way to pm anyone on here. I'm sure there's a way but sometimes I'm kinda slow with the whole internets thing. my GT on live is MoralyChalenged. Toss my a friend request and when the game comes out we'll figure out details for all that want to join.

I have been wanting to join an online dynasty for a while. I would rather be any team we want. If someone sets one up and we can get all the rules down. I would be more then willing to do my part in keeping it going.

I always played one man dynasties and enjoyed building the WKUs of the world into BCS contenders. Never got a chance to try online dynasties, even though I've wanted too. Don't have enough friends who play and worried about joining with some random douches I meet online. I generally assume readers of this site aren't random douches and even if they are, they're Michigan fans so I can cut them a break.

How do the online dynasties work? Do all of the teams play each other in the season? Or, are we just recruiting against each other?

Online dynasties work one of two ways. Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong since it's been awhile but there are either 10 or 12 real people with teams. These teams can be from the same conference or from different conferences. If they're from the same conference then obviously you play most of your games against real people. If they're from different conferences then you play your out of conference games against real people as the commish can set up the schedules for the year.

No matter what we recruit against each other and hopefully meet in some bowl games. The weeks are played as quick as people can all play them. I'd prefer a somewhat set schedule based on what everyone can do so it doesn't get stagnant. The only problem is getting dedicated people to stick with it for multiple seasons but I figure that shouldn't be a problem here. just toss me a friend invite from the post above and when the game comes out we'll hash out the details everyone wants.
