As everyone knows by now Becton has been trending heavily towards V-Tech lately. V-Tech pretty much came out of no where as it was originally between Michigan and Virginia. I think we still have a soild shot here

In honor of: Hand, Mikey, Treadwill, and Damien Harris I strategically omitted Mr. Solomon. I'm extremely superstitious and decided to go a different direction with my juju this year. Like most, I'm sure, I always lean towards "he coming" and find myself drinking alone in my office late at night. Caleb Jones may be big but he's rated as the composite #95 OT. By comparison Taryque Bateman, who is also very big, is rated #67.
I have a lot of confidence in Frey but not even he will have Jones ready to contribute next year.

With Becton trending towards VT, I wonder if the staff would consider making a late run at flipping Jordan Reid. Being a Cass Tech kid, he might be receptive to a Michigan inquiry and I would love to take yet another recruit away from MSU. Plus, the majority of our OL commits are Tackles so grabbing another interior guy wouldn't hurt.

A lot of our current commits could play the interior. In fact, we NEED tackles. I think the only surefire tackle is Andrew Stueber, with Filiaga likely but not guaranteed to play on the outside.

Fruhmorgen would be nice, and Becton could be fine. He's just a big-time project. Of course, you're probably not going to find many instant-impact diamonds in the rough this late, so you have to take what you can get. I would take Becton if there are going to be open scholarships, but I think some people got overly excited about him when he popped up onto the radar.

My thoughts too. It seems no one wants to weigh in. We had a good sot before he committed and he has lots of friends here. Why not go hard at Jordan and see?
