He is good friends w AL commit, Tua, who he's been spending the most time w outside practice; Tua also says they will be roommates at AL and believes he's still coming. --How important S&C is to him and how close he is to AL S&C coach, but couldn't even name Michigans when asked yesterday. Etc.

From what I have seen, and all the info you just shared isn't exactly new, it is a trainer that Harris works with in CA who basically became enamored with the Bama S&C coach on a visit. The trainer, who also worked with Asiasi, has been trying to push Harris to Bama ever since, and has even joked that Harris can't even have his jersey number because Asiasi already wears #2 at Michigan.

I like this kid's style. I wish him the best regardless of where he goes but I will say that this actually gives me a little more optimism that it could actually happen--but I still put it as a long shot in the 10-20% range and will not have the least bit of a reaction to hear he is in Tuscaloosa. If there is anything that points to a glimmer of hope for us is I don't know where he would go if he moved to Bama since the dorms will be closed while everyone is on break till I believe the 21st or something like that and the team is in Tampa for the national championship. Would be a lonely few weeks far from home yet Michigan's campus will be back in full swing. It would seem odd timing to not go back home if school doesn't start for a few weeks.

Got to say, no matter where he goes I like his style. Bit of a refresher from all of the kids who make these way over the top commitment videos. 

Hope like hell he comes here, but if he goes to Alabama, no hard feelings whatsoever. Hell, with the way USC ended their season, wouldn't shock me in the slightest to see Harris shock everyone and end up there.

Were he to decommit from Bama he'd have to communicate that, you know, privately.  It doesn't seem to fit with his persona to totally skip out on a prior agreement.

If he goes to Bama, I hope he gets buried on the depth chart and doesn't get to play until his senior year. People need to teach these HS kids about supply and demand. It's not as if Bama is hurting for 5 star running backs right now.
