I'm teaching myself how to video-edit, so I made this 2016 Defense highlight reel of the first 6 games.

*EDIT:  Changed the title, per your wonderful feedback.  Didn't even think about the confusion, but felt Seek & Destroy was such a great term for our D.  Also, this is the first video I've ever made, so I'll take rest of feedback into account for future vids.  Working on an offensive highlight reel, as well.

Pretty good as it sounds like you are just starting out. One thing I would suggest is not playing the same play 2-3 times. I saw that happen in a few instances throughout the video. 

 

Good job though, I enjoyed it!

Just FYI that your vid will probably be taken down over music licensing. If you take the song title out of the title on YouTube it will have a longer lifespan.

Yeah I just can't do it with that song man. Way overused song in those types of vids IMHO. Which... it's a perfect song for a defense highlight video, but at the same time it's too perfect because I could find a dozen other videos I've seen on youtube for some sort of football/hockey/whatever hits.

Looks like good editing though! With a better song choice, I think this could be a really great video. Well done.

Enjoyed the effort and the video was a ton of fun, but agree that Metallica's Seek and Destroy would have been a better accompaniment. Beyond that, I think you have some opportunities to synch the plays to the music a little more, but this video was a lot of fun and a good effort.
