Scout 300 for 2018
The Scout 300 has been released for 2018 (LINK). I broke down the list of Michigan targets in the top 100 (LINK) and then #101-300 (LINK).
Otis Reese comes in at #229, but no other Michigan commits are on the list. I expected to see Leonard Taylor somewhere, but not necessarily Antwuan Johnson or Jalil Irvin.
Also noteworthy: Detroit Cass Tech safety DeAndre Square is listed at #199, and Detroit East English Village center Tyrone Sampeson is #262. Michigan has yet to offer them.
It sounds like Walters is probably headed elsewhere. I don't know that there's a ton of mutual interest remaining. It sounds like we won't get Lawrence, either, but you never know.

Thanks!
Wasn't Leonard Taylor a 5 star or something like that on 247? Is this an error of ommission on Scout's part or do they really not think that highly of him? Considering the lofty 247 ranking and a Mich/Osu battle, I would think the former may be correct here.
It could be an error of omission, but I'm not sure how you miss a guy who's committed to Michigan and who's highly rated elsewhere. It seems like one of the first things you would do when putting together a list like this is take a look at the players committed to big-time schools.

Yeah, I guess that maybe wasn't the most crackiest looking picture of crack that I could have posted. Maybe the baggie will help?
Normally I don't post to say thank you, but going into the 4th of july weekend I had to get a couple more points.
Nobody can ever upvote you again.

Nope. Its a reference to the Bowl games I attended when I was in school.
It looks like your plan may have backfired, but you're welcome.

My understanding is he's a big PSU fan, so if Franklin is replaced he would still likely stay. The way to pry him away from PSU is a couple of crappy seasons where Franklin is retained while Michigan does well.
Gene, a 2020 OLB.
Colson Yankoff coming in at #151 has some possibilities as well.
When Taylor committed to Michigan in April they called him a 4-star. Most recent article on his visit to Notre Dame on June 21 called him a 4-star. But now if you click on his profile he's a 3-star. Not sure why the drop, but it doesn't seem to be a mistake that he was left off the Scout 300 list.
Got a feeling some buckeye fans have some sway in the rankings department and don't want top players in their state committed to Michigan.
