Michigan vs Ohio State: B1G Baseball Tournament Elimination Game [POSTPONED]
Game postponed after only 1.5 innings of play due to rain.
Michigan down 2-5 when (if) it resumes.
If either of these teams reaches the championship game, they'd have to win 3 games in 24 hours just to get to the championship.
I seriously question if this thing will cancelled.
usually benefit the team behind (thats us) time to regroup and get back on track Lets hope thats the case here
They don't need 5 innings in college to make it official? In other words the game doesn't reset and start over?
No resets in college baseball. If a game hasn't gone 5 innings, either it gets cancelled (which they can't do in a tournament, obviously) or resumed.
This is a "suspended game," which means that it's considered the equivalent of a 14-hour rain delay, and they will start it up from the exact situation where they left off.
Heh - I just switched from the Switzerland-Belgium game to the Hawkeye baseball game, and then switched back. Got a stern, sarcastic "yeah, let's watch a friendly soccer game instead of Hawkeye baseball" remonstration.
Get em!!
...I cannot find a goddamn score on this game. Not on ESPN nor the Big Ten website. This is utterly ridiculous.
