Alabama High Schools Effectively Ban Satellite Camps

Submitted by EastCoast Esq. on

Harbaugh had to call off Michigan's scheduled camp at Bob Jones High School in Alabama because the Alabama High School Athletic Association passed a law limiting when local coaches can participate.

Are they really THAT scared of us?

EDIT: I realize they didn't "ban" them. However, the restrictions are functionally a ban because the dead period starts on June 27th.

It sounds like the Alabama HS athletic assoc is more concerned with Sabin than it is it's own high school athletes.  That's who they should be protecting.

This will be overturned too.

If a high school student can discover career, educational, or athletic opportunities which would be to their benefit, any sensible, caring adult would do everything in their power to encourage that.
