as bad as donnal was on D, DRob getting outscored by 10 by edwards sealed our fate. we needed someone, anyone, to light it up from 3 today.
What killed UM was that Robinson just doesn't have his legs under him. I think the transition to D1 league play really wore him down; defenses definitely compensated a bit, but he's been off shooting for a while now. My hope is that with a year more to develop and really get accustomed to the grind, he'll be able to hold up more, which would really help. This season looks much different if he can keep his shooting up a bit more during the conference slate.
I think Robinson's issue is just about whether he's up to this caliber of play.

haas and swanigan are soph and frosh, respectively. hammonds is gone though.
I'm wondering if Swanigan sticks around. Not that he's a lock or anything to leave, but he was a big-name freshman big man and you could see him being swayed by a good draft report.

Who, pray tell, would Michigan want and possibly get?
Beilein is one helluva coach. People better be careful what they wish for.

Michigan looked small today against Purdue. Granted, three games in three days is tough but still the physical mismatch down low is a tough nut to crack. If you're going to be consistently smaller than the opposition then you need to be fast, offensively efficient, play scrappy D and have a bunch of guys that can drill outside jumpers at a high percentage. The D was decent except against their big men. The score looked respectable for some brief moments but there was a constant feeling that they were just going to pound us down low and pull away. And they did.
