semi-OT: Kentrail Moran (remember him?) trending to EMU.
At one time Kentrail Moran looked like a very good bet to be in this class. His recruitment ended when Harbaugh was hired. He's a near 4* RB from IL. Athough most of his crystal balls are still for Michigan, he was expected to end up at Illinois. He visited EMU this weekend and Lorenz, Ace and others have put in their CBs for them.
It would be quite a coup for them to pick up a kid with multiple Power 5 offers, from out of state, no less. That's assuming he qualifies.

I really meant for athletics. Academics is another ball game.
While I think I can reasonably assume that EMU's academics aren't in the same league as UM's, I won't presume to say they're bad since I really don't know.
But even if you go to EMU, you have to admit that the football program is among the lowest of the low. They're like the real life version of the Mud Dogs from Water Boy.

heading to a JuCo than going to EMU if he has academic issues.

EMU isn't in the same ball park as UM for education. UM has a top education program, EMU is s mediocre teacher factory. There really is nothing EMU can compete with UM in.

and I'm a better MGoCommenter than you. Your argument is not only invalid, it's fucking stupid.

so I hope the sarcasm is implied. Obviously an M education is superior, but working alongside U of M grads daily (undergrad, Med School, and COP) has really taken a shine off the mystique. It seems to be more of an opportunity/money thing. There are third year PharmD students that I wouldn't buy a bottle of ibuprofen from.
