M offers 2017 Cass Tech OG Jordan Reid

As the final rounds of the 2016 recruiting cycle are upon us.........2017 becomes the focus in just 12 days.

Michigan just offered 2017 OG Jordan Reid from Cass Tech. He's a 6-4/284 3 star who has offers from Florida and Tennessee.

It is absolutely critical that we win Cass Tech in 2017.

Michigan already has commitments from:

  1. Ja'Raymond Hall
  2. Carter Dunaway

Michigan is the proclaimed leader for:

  1. Jaylen Kelly-Powell
  2. Allen Stritzinger
  3. Corey Malone-Hatcher

Michigan is the presumed leader for:

  1. Josh Ross

Otherwise, Michigan has a battle on its hands for K.J. Hamler, Antjuan Simmons, Donovan Peoples-Jones, Ambry Thomas, etc. I think Michigan has a decent shot at DPJ, but nobody really knows. I think 5+ Michigan prospects is reasonable, but 10 is pushing it.

Don't know if 2017 is better then this year but let's hope we can get more then 1 player. I'm hoping we can land 3-4 kids from the state this year. Go Blue

over the last week or so, I find it difficult to get at all excited over anyone in the next recruiting cycle(s). All I want right now is a top 5 2016 class that includes Gary and quality linebackers (and no more attrition). Signing day can't get here soon enough!
