Washington 247 writer CB's David Long to Michigan

Submitted by Bambi on

Washington 247 Writer Ruth Robbins put in her crystal ball late last night for David Long to Michigan. Another one from the director of scouting and recruiting at Varsitypreps.com came in last night to give Michigan the 53% crystal ball advantage. Long is the #66 composite player and #8 CB.

Long had been trending towards Michigan since the Army All American Game and is on his official visit to Washington this weekend. The fact that the Washington 247 put in a CB for Michigan while Long was visiting Washington is a big positive for Michigan. While on his visit, Long snapchatted out a picture of a Michigan helmet with the caption "We everywhere" (çrootin' hasn't gone too far right?)

Long has an in-home visit with Michigan coming up soon, and is scheduled to announce after that. It looks good for Michigan that Long will be joining the class at that point.

On UMs board. I watched his film and could see why but remember thinking too bad there's almost no chance he comes(Cali kid, I just assumed). Glad to be wrong.

all of these recruits, but it's interesting to me how they all handle it differently. Some have a real clarity in their decision making, others seem to over analyze and over complicate the process. I admire the decisiveness of kids like Erik Swenson.

Outside of Rashan Gary, Long is the recruit I'd most like to see commit.  He is a pure athlete that also plays with some attitude.  He would be a big time pickup for the team.  Of course, I'd also take any big time linebacker that's willing to commit to us in these last two weeks of the recruiting season....that is certainly a position of need.
