OT: Devan Downey
I don't know if anyone could stomach any basketball after the gut punch that was the State game, however, I turned on the Kentucky/South Carolina game on in the 2nd half with the score 49-47 South Carolina. This caught my interest, so I kept it on, since I dislike John Calipari--NCAAB's version of Pete Carroll.
This little shit Devan Downey absolutely dominated Kentucky. He was a 1-man press breaker and made some of the most ridiculous shots I've seen in crunch time of a huge game. They tried to half court trap him and he ran around them like they were standing still. After watching this Michigan team that is about as entertaining as a girls JV team, it was refreshing to see basketball that was fun. If you haven't seen the highlights of Mr. Downey, you would serve yourself well to do so.

he also shot 9-29!! which is not good lol. He did straight bake john wall with a spin move to the hoop, with just a ridiculous finish off the high backboard it was just stupid how sick it was

I noticed that too. But, as I said, I only watched late in the 2nd half and he was making ridiculous stuff.

"straight bake," "stupid...sick," ... If you could have thrown "tight" in their somewhere it would have been...(insert current phrase that I am young enough to know but still don't because I am lame here)

Wish we could have had a player that was on fire at the end of the 2nd half...

For a team that works on shooting all the time how can they shoot so bad during games? We may have guys that score points, but very seldom is it done with a high shooting percentage.

I was amazed watching him take over the game last night. He is 5'8" and has scored 30 points in 5 of the last 7 games. Dude is awesome. Also glad Calipari lost, I can't stand him.
