Braylon leagal troubles
Looks like Braylon is in trouble for punching Lebron's friend over the summer. Hopefully he gets this taken care of and starts to put more focus into football. He is one of my all-time favorite Wolves and I really want him to succeed in the NFL.

I get a lot of Cleveland sports radio and what I hear is that the guy is an event promoter/lackey for LeBron; and apparently there is/was/was fabricated some "rivalry" between LeBron and Braylon. The Cleveland media went all apologist re LeBron once Braylon was traded.
I think Braylon will get 4 weeks vacation next fall from the Commish.

i don't think goodell even gave 4 weeks to those players who got DUIs. while i think edwards' actions were lame, i can't imagine he'll be treated that roughly when even the law gave him a suspended sentence. he'll likely be fined more than any long-term punishment.

My sense is that Pac Man Jones informs all of the commissioners office decisions regarding assault related discipline in the league. As an aside, the guy he beat up is apparently pretty damn small AND very tight with LBJ in Cleveland...I suspect that influences two weeks more than might otherwise be reasonable.

I remember Bron saying something along the lines of "it's like punching a child." It's nice that LBJ sticks up for his friend, but damn...not sure I'd want that sort of advocacy.

I've read that there is a very real possibility Braylon may be getting a 180 day "vacation" from society...

I read it's a suspended sentence which is more of a probation with the threat of jail time if he violates it.
