My Great Great Great Grandpa was a PWO in the Great Monkey war of 1948. Or maybe he was POW? I don't know

Congrats to the kid! It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine.

Welcome to the team. Anyone with vision that can sling it further than 12 yards down the field is welcome in any capacity.

to get PWO status as a QB, too. I mean, I drink plenty of whole milk and would be willing to play without pads from the waist up. If not PWO status, PYT status is the goal. Anyway, enough rambling, welcome to Michigan, Michael!

After thinking about this all afternoon...
...I like it. A lot. Okay, physically, there's a reason he doesn't have recruiting info on Scout or whatever. But he is a highly productive HS QB, and that means that at the very least, he is a fantastic practice squad QB for the defense to prepare against. He can be aggressive and make throws that a middling 3-star recruit (with dreams of winning the job) might not want to attempt. He's a walk-on, who cares if he throws a pick in practice. I'd rather our defense play against a confident, aggressive QB than someone 3rd on the depth chart who's afraid to make a mistake.
And if, by some chance, he works his way into being a legit Big Ten QB? All the better.

1st All State last year, good size, nice arm, 4.67 40. 4000yds passing last year. Seems like a good pick up

Maybe he's not gonna be a QB.
Lots of athletic QBs play other positions at the next level.
Mighigan had this QB in the mid-eighties who was drafted by da Bears with the last pick in the first round of the NFL draft. Not sure of his name, but his number was 4. As a rookie in the NFL, he wasn't getting any PT, so he asked Coach Ditka if he could play special teams. Of course, he eventually had a very good career as a QB ...
