Drake Johnson should be "ready to go" Saturday; B. Cole still recovering
Straight from Harbaugh's mouth...he admits Johnson has been dinged up the past two games but should be "ready to go" Saturday. Brian Cole is still "some time" away from getting back onto the field.

Sorry if already asked, but is Cole eligible for a meidcal RS? I can't remember seeing him outside of the first 2 or 3 games almost blocking punts on ST. I also haven't been looking that hard though.

Your query is answered in the article. But to give the answer again: Cole is currently eligible for a medical -redship. If he plays again, he is not.

Agreed. He puts pressure on a defense in a way that Smith, Green, and Isaac can not. Ohio State had no answer for him last year until he got hurt.

Me too, I felt we really could have used him.
Drake was our only back that had speed AND vision.
I've always though he was our best back.
And I love Smith, like, a lot.
Speed - Vision - Power
Smith - +
Green + -
Johnson + +
Isaac Too few carries to judge / fumbly
Higdon + ? ?
Let's not forget in 2013, he was the #2 RB, behind only Fitzgerald Toussaint as a true freshman. But he tore his ACL in the first quarter on Michigan's kick-off. I feel really bad for the kid.

Would have been nice to see Johnson instead of Higdon on that run in the 4th when Higdon tripped over his own feet. DId not want to see a lot of Higdon in a game of that magnitude.

I know Isaac was in the dog house for fumbles, but we could have used that sweep he busted outside early in the year (BYU?) agains MSU.
