Tom Brady Giving MVP Chevy Truck to Malcolm Butler as Thanks
Brady told @DandCShow that he "would love" to give the MVP truck to Malcolm Butler. Going to try to "make that work."

LIke others doubt Tom Brady has much use for the truck - if he has a need for a truck he probably already has a nice truck. But giving it to Butler is great symbolism - he made the play that saved the game. Butler would be more likely to hang on to the truck until it rusts through because it is a tangible reminder of probably his greatest sporting moment.

But correct me if I'm wrong. If Chevy gives the truck to Butler, it gets taxed as income. If Brady gives it to Butler as a gift, no tax consequences for Butler, but Brady gets taxed.

Always take the cash.

It's a nice move by Brady, but to put this in perspective, he and Giselle made 78.3M last year. That means they earn roughly $8900 per hour (or around 40k in 4.5 hours). They probably earned more during the game than the truck was worth.

Tom is totally a Ford guy. I can see right through him on this move.
