Charles Woodson IS a true Michigan Man

Submitted by Don on
Not that I had any doubt, but on some occasions during CW's pro career some Michigan fans have grumbled about Woodson's reference to other schools in his life during pre-game introductions on TV. Some have even questioned his allegiance to Michigan as a result. There should be no doubt whatsoever now. The print version of AnnArbor.com is carrying a story this morning that Woodson is donating $2 million to C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. The money is the first donation toward the $15 million needed to create space and purchase equipment for researchers doing early-stage work to help children with cancer, heart disease, kidney disorders, and autism. (For a reason I can't fathom, I can't find the article online at AnnArbor.com, which is freaking ridiculous since they've allegedly embraced the internet, but I assume it will appear when their employees wake up from their naps.)

My roommate in college is a huge packer fan and saw the game today with his entire family. Once the lions started getting blown out, my friend and his family were able to move down to the front row. After woodson's interception he came over to my roommate's family and gave the ball to his little sister. Hes now not only my favorite michigan player of all time but he is also my friends favorite green bay player. keep it up woodson!!! every time you step on the field you do michigan proud!

My deepest regrets to Detroit Lion fans for wearing the Woodson jersey to Thanksgiving Dinner. I had no idea he would have two picks, TD, and cause a fumble...... FYI I am wearing Manny Harris Hoops for 12 pm Old Spice Game.....(PS I am also wearing Old Spice for good luck, my wife wont talk to me) Then I am changing into a Flint SW/Grand Blanc Mark Ingram shirt.
