Pissed about fans selling tickets to OSU

Submitted by bringthewood on
What I was the most disgusted by today was not the play on the field but the number of Michigan "fans" who obviously dumped their tickets to a Bucknut to make a buck. I know many of the tickets are bought and sold by ticket brokers and there are also single game tickets that could be snapped up by OSU fans but give me a break. Please don't tell me "it's the economy stupid". Don't want to go, eat your tickets or give them to a real Michigan fan. Please do not renew your season tickets so maybe someone who actually gives a crap can attend the game next year. The last two years have been frustrating for everyone but selling your ticket to a Bucknut is not the answer. I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir here... I also like our chances vs OSU with Tressel and Pryor at the helm the next two years. Tressel makes Carr look like a member of the mad magicians.

My house full of buckeye fans even noticed all the red in the crowd. I told them they better be here in a year or two when we are putting 50 on them each game.

For one of the seasons which I had tickets, we had 2 rows in front of me that were all sorority chicks who ALWAYS showed up late to games and ALWAYS left early. Of course, we knew the usher for our section well enough that my friends and I would move two rows closer after they left, and he never had a problem with it. I'm saddened to see that this practice continues...

I'm pissed too, but if you think about it I'm pretty sure at least half of these people don't know who they're selling tickets to. They put them up on Stubhub and other ticket websites and OSU fans can buy them. So be pissed at us for selling tickets, but our ENTIRE fanbase didn't intentionally sell tickets to OSU fans, they might value the money more than going to this game. I choose to criticize their priorities rather than call them traitors.
