Jamar Adams in the NFL now (sort of)
Per CBSSports.com, Jamar Adams, the only competent Michigan safety in recent memory, has been signed to the Seahawk's practice squad:

Good for him. Practice squad players make $6,000 a week, with playoff bonuses. Not a bad living.

He was contending for a starting spot, or so I heard, until they brought some guys in in the offseason. Maybe some day...

damn. If you're anything like me and you were a decent HS athlete you're thinking "wow..i couldn't have put in the dedication to at least be a practice squad scrub in the NFL for awhile?" Then you realize guys who played at the elite of the elite in DI football struggle to make it there.
6,000/wk is some nice cheese, though.

In Madden, his potential rating is an F
I wish the best for Jamar Adams, and hopefully he knock someone's helmet ajar

I bet his potential rating is an F because of Michigan's troublesome history with safeties. Hopefully he can get on the real roster and start to change all that.

From your title "Jamar Adams in the NFL now (sort of)" I assumed it was about him signing with the Lions.

I had no idea they got paid that much, I was thinking around half that. Good for Jamar.

Looks like he's been doing well, because they signed him for real.
I'm kind of new, is it better that I found this topic and posted this here, or should I have started a new topic?
