I cant wait for the Nike Air Not Just a Shooter!
Give me the "kisses at Breslin" edition
I cant wait the tennis shoes that have the silouette of Nik taking a corner 3.
The 2014 Nike Fierce Performance Fabric Blouse. Full button and ruffled pull-over editions available. Paisly or solid. Moisture wicking, full range of motion for dunking, and pulling up at the 3-point line. Wrist accents to beautify blowing of kisses.
Now the swagger is paid for.
I miss Nike.
Thanks for providing the link - it seems that lately, sometimes simply pasting the link doesn't quite work as was the case here. Another thing for the programming to-do list, I suppose.
I was sort of disappointed that there wasn't photo of Nik in their gallery shots of the Las Vegas Summer League, although they were at least kind enough to mention that he wore Hyperdunks. I have seen them on the Foot Locker site - the generally available version is pretty cool actually.
Glad to see Nik getting some deals like this done already. He is definitely poised to build a great future.
Everyone knows the next apparel contract is going to come down to who offers the most money.
Pretty sure DB is going to pay attention to the highest bidder. Which is going to be adidas.
Vablue: it isn't "different from every other AD." That's the point. DB has turned the "leaders and best" into "followers and just like everyone else" when it comes to the overcommercialization of college sports.
Sadly, the only thing that DB has done that could be remotely described as 'protecting Michigan's tradition' is to decide that Michigan will continue to be saddled with a "traditional" 20th century offense while every bona fide national championship contender not named Alabama is playing the 21st century version of football.
was sponsored by Champion, Nike and now Adidas. Your point being.....?
No Canadian sports brands available?
Nikeh?
I initially read this as Nike signs with Nike...
2011 gear due to Nike having BCS Bowl rights
Final Four
Yeah, some real outstanding stuff there....
You're in denial about Nike. They put out horrific-looking things with their idiotic little sayings on them. Also: pro combat. I don't think I need to post photos of those infamous disasters.
You can be superstitious about an outfitter. That doesn't change the fact that 2007, Michigan Football's last year in Nike, they still had an awful year.
Basketball went to zero Final Fours, zero Elite Eights, zero Sweet Sixteens and won no B1G Championships with Nike as the outfitter (1995-96 was the first year of the deal). Their final year in Nike, Michigan had their worst season in program history going 10-22.
A Final Four, two Elite Eight appearances, two Sweet Sixteen appearances and two B1G Championships with adidas.
Michigan also won ONE NCAA Tournament game in TWO appearances with Nike (that win doesn't officially count). Let that sink in for a moment.
Football being in the shape they're in is the fault of the administration and coaching regimes. Not the outfitter.
For me, Adidas puts a shitty product on the field/court/ice. Put your ear to the ground with the right folks, and it seems it's the consensus among the athletes who actually wear the stuff. It's interesting how some programs, like PSU, Alabama, Texas, etc. can be Nike schools without Oregon shit. It can be done. Meanwhile we get jerseys you either can't read or cant stand to look at as it is. Bumblebee stripez and goofy Fruit Stripe camo patterns... That's what Adidas money dictates, I guess.
Some of the best athletes in the world wear Adidas. It's fine and I doubt there is a problem with any of the actual uniforms worn during competition. The NBA and soccer Adidas stuff is better than anything Nike has ever produced. Maybe Adidas is putting their worst designers on the college gear but it doesn't affect wins or losses so who cares.
LeBron and KD both wear Nike; Adidas does official NBA gear. Just because NFL uniforms are made by Nike doesnt mean all of players are sponsored by them. Same when it was Reebok 2 years ago
Are you assuming Adidas decides what styles they actually wear? I'm sure they design some options but someone in the UM AD has to make the final choice
I will know it's WD
Huge difference.
You realize all of the NBA uniforms are Adidas right? There is no difference in quality. I've had plenty of Nike stuff that was crap. Go to the Nike outlet and tell me they only make quality shoes and clothing. Germany just won the World Cup in Adidas somehow.
That's quality right there.
