There were some comments last week before Thanksgiving on the Big Show that Michigan has been lining up NIL programs behind the scenes - one of them was apparently a $25M trust that will pay out to all of the student athletes, and others were in the works from the updates they were hearing behind the scenes.

Starting to wonder if you see schools like Michigan look to make deals with airlines or hotels so that players could have packages where parents could be flown in for games at low/no cost?  Would definitely help with pulling in kids nationally.

I think a lot of people are reading far too much into this random quote that was given to Twitter. I am a die-hard fan who also didn't think there was any chance we could do it. 

But nothing about that quote tells me he doesn't want to be here or we shouldn't keep recruiting him as hard as we can. Not every HS kid is going to share our overwhelming passion for Michigan and that is alright. That doesn't mean they don't want to be here.

Exactly.  You have a chance to get the two of the top five corners in this class, you take it.  Will Johnson grew up an hour outside of Ann Arbor and his family are Michigan fans.  Jackson taking his time doesn't mean anything other than he's trying to make the best and most informed decision for his future.

It really makes me wonder how some of the posters here function in the real world.  You get a job offer and you just take it without doing your research or due diligence on the company? Without talking to ex-employees who left to find out why and their perspective? Hell, I have family members that grew up die hard Michigan fans - several generations attended - and they even struggled with their decisions to attend college here when they had other good options.  

He and his family spent their own money to fly out to freezing Michigan during the most expensive travel weekend of the year to attend.  Yes, technically "free tickets" to the OSU game, but the travel, hotel, and lodging were all on their dime.  That's several thousand dollars.  There is a chance here.

The people trying to convince themselves that we shouldn't want or take him are really something else.

I believe there is also a quote out there saying that he has never experienced anything like that this weekend. We did everything we could and now we must wait. Go Blue, Beat Iowa.

Wonder if it’s a weather thing. I could see a kid from somewhere warm both loving the game/atmosphere and thinking it was entirely too cold on Saturday.

All of his quotes seem like he's trying to find reasons not to go to Michigan. The quotes obviously don't tell the whole story, but he just doesn't really seem enamored with us. Sam Webb has also said in the past that Domani can be very easily and quickly swayed by his most recent visit and if that's not happening after this past weekend, then I don't like our chances

If he's not ready to sign up after that game, he ain't coming and we probably don't want him. Not good to have players who are only half here. Wish him the best at USC.
