It's a big loss for Washington.  Lake is a defensive coach so they'll likely figure out ways to compensate, but on a team with only 10 sacks last year he had 7.

I see this injury a key setback to the Washington Defense. Without the Husky leading pass rusher, the plan in the latest spring practice is to use M.J. Tafisi a backup inside linebacker to come off the edge on passing downs.  Clearly the coaches have some ground to make up. Too bad for the loss the young man, but its time fate shined on us. Give our QB time to throw and it can make a big difference in the outcome of this game. With some momentum who knows how this season can shake out.

I've thought each year that we are so overdue to have a  QB free of injuries. This just may be the year if the OL can find their footing.
