This probably didnt help the kid’s draft position but hopefully he excels in the other drills to make up for this time.

He did measure in at over 6'8". I always thought his height might have been exaggerated but it's not!

Ouch.  Gentry was nearly last in every TE combine event.  Probably gets drafted but in the last round?  Strange given his athletic measurables coming out of high school were really good. His bench was 12 (!!!) which was half compared to the elite TEs.

No way he gets drafted.  There were 15 TEs drafted last year, 14 in 2017, and 11 in 2016.  After the combine he's basically 19th out of the 19 TEs that attended.

Maybe he latches on as a UDFA TE and busts his ass to improve, but given what we've seen in that area the last few years from him, that's pretty doubtful.

He'll do well in the Tall drill.

An NFL pass-catcher needs to be able to create separation or catch the ball in traffic.  Maybe he gets cut some slack in the "catch the ball" part as he's relatively new to the position.

I really thought he was a 4-5 round guy but after today he’s looking like a 6th-7th round guy. He drops to many balls to be a higher pick if you ask me.

Gentry was really disappointing this year.   Really wanted to see a fully weaponized Gentry.  Didn’t he run a 4.6 in high school?
