NEVER, EVER, EVER look over your next opponent

I think it's okay to overlook your team's next opponent if you don't actually play for the team.

Growing pains, that is what our team has to go through...and it was the turnovers that did us in...oh, and that TE Moeske or whatever his name is, Stansi got it done when he had too...

This is called "looking ahead."

But who cares if fans look ahead? We don't play/coach for the team.
Hell, I already have my flight to Pasadena booked for January 1. Rose Bowl, baby.

I've also looked ahead and will be going bowling with the boys this year.. looking ahead as fans is alright. The team will do what they need to take care of D. State and then they can take care of PSU like I think they will.

PSU is going to be tough, but I think playing at home again will be good for the freshmen. This team was a couple of bad plays away from being 6-0.

I know a lot of people will say why did Rich Rod do that and this but the fact is we have lost 2 road games by what 8 points? We are a young team and have D that is not that good. If they can hold someone to 20 points we would be in good shape. The future is bright in A2.

i said it in another thread... we're going to be on both sides of close games for the rest of the season.
I will be really interested to see what the game against Delaware St looks like.
Now, people may not agree with this, but IMO, Rich needs to work with the passing offense next week. I'm sure we could roll right over DSU by running 50 times for 300 yards, but I'm not sure that helps us against teams like PSU/OSU. I feel like our passing attack is totally haphazard a lot of the time. some of it's Tate, some is the lack of a #1 wideout. but we need to build some confidence and momentum there.
just a thought...

I'd really like to see us get Mathews back involved in the passing game. He's been invisible lately. I'd also like to see if Hemingway can resume being the deep threat he looked like he'd be against WMU (and Utah last year).
