OT: Elijah Hood to Notre Dame
The 4/5* running back out of North Carolina has (unfortunately) committed to The Irish. We were the favorite for roughly a day (right after he visited back in February) and he was considered by many (e.g. 7 out of 8 on 247's crystal ball) to be a North Carolina lean.
Officially committing to The University of Notre Dame! #GoIrish #ND #BlueAndGold

Higher chance of winning I'd think
It's all about money, which while a game with Michigan will draw more attention, it's also more likely a loss than games against Purdue or State. At the end of the day, an extra win leads to a better bowl game and a greater liklihood of making it back into the national championship mix.
Ah well. As others have noted, he'll only be on the schedule once if that, and at this point UM's backfield looks pretty solid. Obviously you want more talent, but it's not nearly as devastating a blow as you'd expect.
Anybody can throw a bone about this??

No need to buckle up. The article just brings us up to date on Bushell-Beatty and Peppers. Bushell-Beatty will likely decide in the next two months--Michigan is the leader, but he is also considering Wisconsin and Florida. Peppers, as we already deduced a few days ago, is going to take a visit to Stanford this summer before he makes a decision.

Would have liked him to go Blue, but not such a big loss. Good luck to the young man

Urban's ring presentation didn't impress him enough.
