Trey Burke also wins USBWA Oscar Robertson Player of Year Trophy
Burke was awarded the AP Player of the Year yesterday. Additionally, the John R. Wooden Award will be announced later today (11:15 et), which many consider along with the naismith to be the most prestigious.
A quick recap thus far off the top of my head...
Big 10 POY
Bob Cousy award (best pg)
Consensus First Team All-American
AP Player of the Year
Now, USBWA Oscar Robertson Player of Year
Go blue!!!
Completely unrelated...but I enjoyed a couple quotes from this article
http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaab/2013/04/04/opposing-coaches-…
Weakness: "The way Mitch McGary is playing right now, I'm not sure. Maybe their bench? I guess once you get past (Jon) Horford or (Jordan) Morgan. The way we played them the first two times was we wanted McGary, Horford and Morgan to beat us. Now, you can't do that. They're playing at such a high level." – Chambers
"It's hard to find weaknesses with a team like Michigan. It's basically if they're not hitting shots." – Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan"
Who knew there were so many awards out there?
There's still the Adolph Rupp trophy and NABC trophy as well.
I'm going to require a sick wallpaper listing all the awards he's won

EDIT: Here's better photo of the hardware:
It hasn't been a clean sweep of the national POY awards for Burke. Otto Porter was Basketball Times' pick, while Oladipo was selected by Sporting News.
It is difficult to believe that anyone could beat picking up awards every two days or so for a few weeks, but I think this is now three in the space of about twenty hours for Trey Burke. As we sit here about 90 minutes or so from the Wooden Award announcement, seeing the kudos continuing to roll in has to be a hopeful sign for that impending presentation.
In addition to the list above in the OP, he was also the Most Outstanding Player for the South Region in the NCAA Tournament and he was named to the Lute Olson All-American team as well. I believe he is also a Naismith finalist, so he is in a position to go for the sweep there.
Just hope that he and the rest of the team is hungry for the one award that matters above all others, the National Title!
Next award is the National Championship, and with that NC he can pick up the Naismith Award with his title ring.
