ESPN Big Ten Blog: Big House Only #6 Stadium in Conference
I ranked ESPN the 6th best network for college football news.
....but are we, by Bennett's own admission in the video, being knocked from one to six because of an acoustic condition that used to exist before the renovations? Did I miss something here? If not, then I admit to not even understanding the reasoning or how he believes that this is an orginal thought about Michigan Stadium.
you are interpreting ESPN correctly. there was very little effort put into this series, you can see that by the shitty production in the videos. honestly, neither Brian nor Adam are particularly good on camera, but I can let that slide. nerds gonna nerd, & I'm also a nerd, so good on them. nerds are good for the sporting world.
but yeah, this is not a list backed up by any solid presentation of evidence or criteria. it's not a transparent system by any means, & it's pretty silly for us to really care about it all (shame on me for commenting twice in this thread) ... it's just arbitrary, & whoever is on camera says some generic words, & that's it. it's a filler, a buzz-generating off-season 'thing' ... it's just ESPN. you've already got it figured out.
I would rank Brian Bennett's poise and TV presence sixth in a group of him and five centipedes. And the video? I think I made something with better video quality in a one-credit "viral video" class that I took as a joke.
Seriously there need to be more comments on the overall quality of that video. It's more worthwhile than engaging ESPN trolling.
1. Find me news about OSU, UM, ND, Texas or A & M
2. If there is no news, just make something up
3. If you cannot think of anything to make up, just troll one of them for the page hits.
4. ?
5. Profit
is this a sick joke???
who cares what some jackass noname reported from ESPN says.
And what is this notion that the Big House is a dump? I get the bowl is tight and you get a bench but most college stadiums are bench seating and cramming us in there is part of the appeal of being the largest crowd anywhere in America on that given day. I feel like the rest is top notch: wide concourse, beautiful brickwork, suites, big screens, no cattle herding ramps, etc. Am I just a naive homer?
