"The face of the operation is Briatore (referred to exclusively in the film by his colleagues and angry, chanting detractors as "Flavio"), an anthropomorphic radish who spends most of his time at QPR plotting to fire all of the managers."
A couple more Wolverine hockey alumni will be heading to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, and both had a hand in tonight's Montreal win over Ottawa. The Canadiens won the series four games to two behind outstanding Carey Price goaltending, but tonight Pateryn assisted on Brendan Gallagher's first-period goal, the game-winner, and Pacioretty sealed the deal with an empty-netter from deep in his own end with 0.03 to go.
Wolverines whose teams remain in the playoffs as of this post include:
-Andrew Cogliano (Ducks)
-Luke Glendening (Red Wings)
-Carl Hagelin (Rangers)
-Matt Hunwick (Rangers)
LET'S GO RED WINGS, plus the Habs and Rangers otherwise, and to a lesser extent, the Ducks.
Greg Pateryn just called up to MTL after 22 games with Hamilton. I'm impressed, never thought he had the skating to do it.
Looking forward to seeing him play in the NHL - congrats to Greg and Red for another UM NHL alum!
Mod edit: Changed the title. JGB.
So coming off of tonight's exciting win (followed by a great end to the Red Wings game as well), I decided to put together senior haikus for the four seniors on the hockey team, ahead of tomorrow night's senior night. Yes, it's an obvious rip-off of Brian's tradition for the football team. I'm not guaranteeing quality, as we don't get to know as much about the personality of the hockey team as we do the football team. Still, it's my senior year as well, so I feel a special connection with this team as I have been watching them for four years, and the runs in the CCHA tournament in 2010 and NCAA tournament last year were both awesome.
Please add your own

You deserve Hobey
Nice litte article from Montreal's website about the two Canadiens prospects. I particularly enjoyed the end of the article...
"Once they win their championship together in Michigan maize and blue next year, that’s when Bennett and Pateryn will finally start dreaming of patrolling the Montreal blue line together in Habs blue-blanc-rouge."
Go Blue and Go Habs
