I stopped paying attention after he was a healthy scratch most nights, he really struggled in Hamilton early in the year. Habs insiders thought he would never make it because he was starting in the system older after 4 years of college.

Tbh everyone was sure Tinordi was going to be the first callup. Guess the brass likes what they saw lately (and he is tough). Plus Weber is abysmal and probably played his way off the team last night.
I'm not sure how much Greg will play - if at all - but after watching him last year, sure he had the size but I thought ECHL, maybe end of roster AHL because he couldn't skate. And there was the whole go back to school thing - though maybe Red and the Habs have some good insider relationships still going after all these years.
Anyway more UM here makes us a happy camper.

I thought he had already been
I thought he had already been playing fairly extensively for Montreal. Maybe not this season but in past seasons. Am I confused? I mean, he definitely got crunched by Chara that one time so he's been with the Habs at least a bit
Pacioretty
Pateryn was a senior defensemen on the team last year. Pacioretty played one year at Michigan in 2007-08 before signing with the Habs.

I must have been tired last night because I don't know how I made that mistake.
