Caris named as the Medical-Red-Flag Scare guy in their categorized Top Five Sleepers:
If LeVert hadn’t broken his foot twice and endured other leg injuries in college, he would be a top-20 lock. He’s got everything a wing in the modern NBA needs: shooting (a career 40.1 percent shooter from 3), playmaking (4.9 assists per game), scoring (16.5 points per game), rebounding (5.3 boards per game), and the length (6-foot-10 wingspan) to guard multiple positions. He reminds me a lot of Khris Middleton, another long wing with a good IQ who slipped into the second round because of injury concerns. Whether or not LeVert can stay healthy at the next level, I have no idea. There will come a point pretty early in the second round when he becomes worth the gamble, though.
All over twitter, including Ace's account. Left the tunnel in sweats and was officially ruled out for tonight's game. Blah.

Reported by Baumgardner, among others. This is obviously a setback with regard to LeVert's summer workout plans, but he should be recovered in time for the trip to Italy:
“Caris underwent surgery today for a stress fracture of his foot at the University of Michigan hospital," Beilein said in a statement. "He is doing well and we expect him to make a full recovery in about 8 to 10 weeks. We are confident he will participate in our late summer training and play in our August trip to Europe.”
According to a Freep article, it's not known whether he'll be able participate in the Kevin Durant camp for wings (to which he had received an invite), which is usually held in July.
Not sure if anyone had posted this prior - if so, feel free to remove - but it appears as if Caris Levert is getting some NBA love now? NBADraft.net has him listed as a first-round pick in the 2015 draft. I am perhaps not the largest Caris Lavert supporter but his development, offensively at least, has been amazing. That said, I'm skeptical of this projection. I'm just not sure where he would project to in the NBA given his size and skill set.
Related, Stephen Ross should just start mailing Lavall Jordan envelopes full of cash now.
I noticed he played 7 minutes tonight. I wonder if they are planning on burning his redshirt now? Vogrich only played 4 minutes and Akunne didn't play any.
edit - That means redshirt is burned. I'm surprised they decided to do that, but then again, Vogrich and Akunne haven't been playing that well.
