My guess is that some schools "cheat" to help the athletes once they are signed and on campus trying to live life. Other schools "cheat" to get the athletes to sign.
I always imagined Michigan is the type of program that only "cheats" in some self-assured way that makes the guilty party feel justified ?. Maybe helping a kid provide food for his family or a small prepaid debit card to cover traveling expenses. Either way, cheating is breaking the rules. Then again I could be completely wrong and Michigan is ran by the book. Whats more likely?
This is Brian pissed off. The mask issue (symbol) is more than a mere tipping point, it's basically an insult in retribution for the perps obvious negligence in everything he does at Michigan. This is such a sad fucking situation.
Did we read the same post? I agree Michigan has personal to continue running mesh, but this post was about the defensive response to other teams running mesh
That's likely if you believe the coaches are saving everything for OSU after test running the offense vs Minnesota. If that's the case, it's the dumbest idea ever to sacrifice so much money and recruiting for a single game...entirely possible with this staff unfortunately ?

Just a couple of years ago a lot of folks were calling for JOK even though he didn't beat out the starter. Low and Behold, there was a good reason he didn't get the starts. So I agree with you, if DM was better than SP this year he would have started.
I don't think M needs bagmen and cheating, they may need to relax some other standards though. On line courses like mentioned above are becoming a popular way for athletes to get a degree and train for the league.
Your right and look at all the consequences they face for selling out to wins= national championships and beating rivals and kids going on to the NFL. So what exactly are they doing so wrong?
It seems to me that there is a difference between a 4or5 star that chooses Michigan over other schools. The one thing RR knew he needed to win wasn't necessarily 4-5 stars it was recruits with a hard edged. He was right and that is the difference between a 5star OSU recruit and 5star Michigan recruit
So you are under the impression that UofM is squeaky clean in recruiting and player retention? I'm not an alum and my opinion doesn't matter but unless Michigan is 100% clean, what is the point in sitting on an false soap box?
I watched this game as if I had never heard of Mgoblog.com. No emo bitch ass BPONE, no worrying about certain players playing LB just a WalmartWolverine enjoying the game like I used to and I loved it. Just win baby!

Folks, isn’t time we drop “Across 110th Street”
From the Music bullet points?
The program has exercised some of those demons that wouldn’t let them free over the past few years.
I like your style, are you also a Cbus native?
Oh oh oh...can I answer this one, please?
WTF man, you really can't see why a star wide out returns punts?
I just want to say thank you, and I wish you good fortune. I found this site during the Tate forcier freshman season, and have followed ever since.
Just look at my profile pic?
And I want Seth to do a Neck sharpies (special edition) on the hiring process for successful schools compared to Michigans current plan ?
I agree. Besides, when was the last time a highly successful HC lost his first game? That's Besides the point, just another brick in the wall.
We should also recognize that the 2016 team was a Brady Hoke squad and Michigan's overall team quality has steadily declined since then.
The man has literally broke bones for Michigan, damn right he feels the pain of this let down.

What he said about what that other guy said☝️
Hmm who did Michigan play two weeks ago?..oh yeah
PSU by 14...they'll come alive for this one. The first team to create a momentum event takes off for the win.
Same
It's well know UM had a list of Notre Dame, Michigan and Ohio state as his dream jobs before taking the Florida job years ago

^He gets it
You might be over thinking this. Simply think back to 2014 and ask yourself would you be ok with 0-6 vs OSU
Last week I replied to ACEs post that I could see IU beating UM by 17...it was a half hearted attempt at sarcasm. Well shit.
"Sweep the leg" guy is spot on. INDIANA wins by 17+ ?

And that's why he said there is no reason not to play. He seen the film, he knows he will have a hell of a going out party.
Thank you, Seth and Mgoblog. This is why I come here

What is immoral about bringing a kid to play football at a college he would never have had a chance to get into based on grades?
Your right and look at all the consequences they face for selling out to wins= national championships and beating rivals and kids going on to the NFL. So what exactly are they doing so wrong?
I agree but I can't upvote you, Michigan only has a hard edge when the opponents cant hit back
Those are all good points, and I have no idea why I mentioned RR. I must be dead inside.
It obviously didn't but the last time M beat OSU they had a hard nosed group of athletes that played with a ton of more attitude and aggression

What if there is something waiting for the kids after a buckeye victory. Since 2015 the opportunity to present (it) hasn't happened yet.

I understand this blog not wanting to be a fluff piece outlet, but being the complete opposite is no better.
