We certainly do value what you think, Alex! Rarely comment, but spend way more time reading the amazing content on this site than is probably good for my mental health. All worth it.
Rarely post, but last night's events certainly call for me to add my voice to many others - echoing how much I appreciate this site and the many posters that make this such an awesome community.
Thanks, SRJK, for this post and your insightful and gracious perspective each time you write. It's always a pleasure reading your stuff!
I have to wonder if this sense of awe and fascination that I feel watching what is Iowa (and Nebraska) football each week, is the same sensation that many rivals felt in 2008 watching us plummet to rock bottom. I can't break my eyes away from the television...
Hands down my favorite column to read out of any site I frequent throughout the week. Love it.
Haha - flashback to my first game at Michigan Stadium as a 13 year old in the early 90's. Can't say that I wasn't a little traumatized trying to relieve myself during halftime with those troughs.
1) OSU - there's nothing in all of sports that can match how I feel towards this school, but especially their fans. I haven't lived in MI/OH area in over a decade, but these insufferable fans continue to come out of the woodwork to troll me even though I don't give them any ammo. I'm almost as interested in every OSU game as a Michigan game because I want them to lose so bad. Maybe I need help...
2) MSU - Many of my friends went to this school. Although I don't deal with stupid fans like many on this blog, I happened to grow up with a distaste and can't seem to shake it. 9 times out 10 I root against them.
3) ND - Since we haven't played them for awhile, my "hate" isn't nearly as strong. I still enjoy watching them lose though.
4) USC - Always hated them and their actor/model-looking athletes/coaches. Not really, but I like seeing them lose.
5) BAMA - I don't mind their success, I just can't stand Nick Saban. Enjoy hating on them now.
6) FSU - Something about Fisher drives me crazy and I think my hate level went up with Winston's cockiness.
7-10) Any school that hired a notable former OSU coach/player (e.i., Texas, Rutgers, Cincinnati, etc.)
The wind was nasty, but it was a fun game to be at. I did have a drunk couple behind me get loud and try to push my buttons - but I was impressed by the other fans that apologized to me for them. Wore my Desmond Howard Rose Bowl jersey and got a lot of comments from fans from both sides.
Being a transplanted Michigander, I cannot believe how many people out here still think I'm from Wisconsin or Minnesota even though it's come up in conversation many times. No comparison - although being as proud as I am, I could see getting Wisconsin and Minnesota confused...
Yes. I just had this conversation with someone the other day. OU's fight song is one that you hear just once and it leaves you with that nail-on-chalkboard feeling the rest of the day. Worst song there is.

It's great to be a Michigan Wolverine.
Thanks for…

There are no words to express the joy in my heart when I saw Opponent Watch back in business.
I still can't wipe the smile off my face. Incredible stuff as always, BiSB!
