The main issue is that he still has a year left on his contract in San Fran. They would likely get a high pick from a needy NFL team looking to trade for a good coach. San Fran can keep him from going to Michigan by not releasing him from his contract, should they choose. My thought is he'll go to Michigan if he wants because he'll tell any other team he doesn't want to be the coach there. Don't think it's a bidding war though, should be one way or the other, if this makes any sense.
