Great breakdown on the Hanged Man. That card and the Tower tend to freak people out the most. I try to write at a 101 level so that a casual reader can pass through and see if the esoteric matches the advanced metrics and the actual game play. I would love to go deeper. I especially like the way the Hebrew ties the first 2 cards of the deck back to the escape of the Hanged Man. To me that's what gives Tarot so much more depth beyond pretty cards with stories.

JJ was looking a little Hanged Man early as well. I didnt have time for a halftime reading but that is not a bad idea going forward.

The Page of Swords reversed would be big time Michigan State energy, like fighting in the tunnel, mismanaging personnel and off-field issues, and generally not showing up sober, if you show up at all.

My method to avoid that is to sing the fight song while shuffling. This is how I try to get a feel for the energy surrounding the game. I then lay out all the cards in a line. With my off hand, I select 3 randomly with my eyes closed. There are 78 cards in the deck. So the probability of a repeat from week to week is actually quite low starting as a 1 out of 78 shot. My results have been more accurate than a coin toss as I completely botched only 3 games last season.
