06/06/2018 - 6:57pm Who? I don't think I have…

Who? I don't think I have ever seen that name spelled that way in print.

06/06/2018 - 5:39pm It absolutely does. He also…

It absolutely does. He also doesnt want to uproot his family at 66 to go coach in Orlando. The pistons would allow him to stay where he is. And that opportunity is closed for a few years until the turnstile revolves again

06/02/2018 - 5:19pm one of the position coaches

06/01/2018 - 12:02pm In this post I predict a lot of disrespekt

05/27/2018 - 9:19pm I agree in principle

But did they really have to prepare for him? We never threw the ball with him so they just had to prepare for a direct snap and run.

05/24/2018 - 1:56pm You're missing the point entirely

Those guys were predicted to be first round picks out of high school. Bridges came back for another year to build his stock and he is projected no higher than he would have last year. He has not elevated the recent guys draft stock.

05/23/2018 - 4:23pm Way to nail all the off season tropes

With no analysis or actual reasoning other than feels.

05/22/2018 - 11:01am from listening to their cover 2 podcast

I know that one of their writers picked Michigan to win it all this season like 3 years ago and is is sticking with his pick. So I am guessing that gave us a nice bump in their overall.

05/14/2018 - 12:44pm I applied in and out of state

Granted this was 2007. The scholarship offers I got out of state basically brought the total cost down to the cost of an in state school. I think that can happen with out of state schools to make them more competitive vs a U of M where you may only get a little. I got enough to make it the best choice for me.

05/10/2018 - 1:52pm This simply isn't true

To be a top recruit you have to work hard with the exception of a couple physical freaks. They may not all excel at school. That doesnt mean they are low character.

05/10/2018 - 10:51am I mean

I wouldnt be surprised if they knew. They take risks on questionable players, why not coaches. It isn't like they were going to hold a press conference and tell the media about it.

05/10/2018 - 9:59am No

The top recruits still get plenty of love and attention. it was stated ad nauseam when these were a big deal that it mostly impacts guys going to lower level schools who wouldnt otherwise get seen. Maybe we don't get a couple of under the radar guys we would find via this mechanism, but those are the people you all would be bitching about anyways demanding to know why we would blow a scholarship so early on such a lowly recruit

05/10/2018 - 8:32am I think they mean

despicable that they couldn't find any information on this when vetting the guy. It would be one thing if they investigated it and concluded that it was not an issue. But to be caught with your pants down like this is the most lions thing ever.

05/09/2018 - 2:42pm He isn't better than okorn

He was behind him on the depth chart. He wasn't winning any extra games for us.

05/09/2018 - 1:00pm Uh

It could have impacted the development of Peters and McCaffrey. There are only so many reps to go around. Why sacrifice future development on a dead in the water season.

05/09/2018 - 11:54am I mean

he completed under 60% of his passes against MAC competition. And he already lost out to O'korn. You people who think "sugar shane" would have saved us are high. He wins 0 additional games. He probably loses to Purdue if he has the nod over okorn. Adding another mediocre to poor QB last year doesnt change a thing.

05/09/2018 - 9:42am Why?

Did we need someone to throw a football through a wall? Liked the kid plenty, but he wouldn't have helped us last year. Guy had 0 touch.

05/07/2018 - 5:54pm *clear one side

05/07/2018 - 5:53pm Ehhhh

It would definitely be interesting to track that as an additional stat, but if a qb pump fakes on a play action to ear one side of the field and has a wide open man he throws to while getting wrecked himself, he should get those yards.

05/04/2018 - 7:51am but.. but..

what about NWs QB? I thought he is a top 5 pick?

04/13/2018 - 12:14pm Devils advocate here

Wouldn’t a scribble on a bathroom stall qualify as a breadcrumb or sloppy clue?

04/10/2018 - 4:57pm I like how in football

It’s frowned upon to speculate specific names of guys who could transfer or be given a firm handshake, but this thread is just full of names of guys people think will leave.. just let the dust settle before kicking guys off the team.

04/10/2018 - 1:15pm They didn’t have to respond at all.

And that was probably the smartest move. I’m going to guess that most of the allegations Michigan made against them were things that were publicly known because they admitted to wrongdoing and trying to deflect blame. Because of their response, we now send them everything we have, which I would guess include additional evidence that corroborates some of the previous problems and probably some new evidence that the NCAA wasn’t aware of.

04/07/2018 - 7:07pm Only through like 3-4 episodes

Pretty sure pep calls the PASSING plays. I still get the impression drevno calls the runs. With so much emphasis on who is qb and the passing games struggles to evolve past a kakuna I think pep was shown calling a lot of plays because it was all about the passing game.

04/06/2018 - 12:58pm No it doesn’t.

Why do you have to quantify or qualify good deeds. He did a nice thing. It’s nice that people sometime do nice things, no matter how big or small. And it’s nice that people who do nice things work at Michigan with the kids here.

04/06/2018 - 11:56am So many of you on here are insufferable

Who cares if the family has money? Like that makes it mean less? They’re doing EXACTLY what you would hope someone with money would do. They encountered adversity and are growing from it. They’re raising awareness about a disease 99.9% of us didn’t know existed. They’re using their money to try to make their kids lives as happy as possible. They started a foundation and use their wealth to host events. Even this entire story is in the news because they came out and were upset to see a guy get shit in for doing a nice thing.

If you earn money you should enjoy it, and it’s great that people out there exists who care enough to try to make a difference for other people.

04/06/2018 - 11:16am Why

Why do you feel that is a necessary qualifier? His kids have a terrible disease with no cure, but they have enough money to enjoy as normal a life as possible so don’t feel too bad for them...

04/03/2018 - 12:18am Wow.

The point is he’s probably not a first round pick. 0.00000000% chance he’s the #1 pick. I still can’t tell if you’re just being a dick.

03/28/2018 - 5:06pm I mean

It already announced his agent in the post...

03/26/2018 - 11:13am To all the people saying good, screw em

Do you live in Michigan? Who do you think pays this bill? They’re going to kick and claw and do everything they can to pass this on to taxpayers and students. Their negligence is going to continue to screw over people and no one wins.

03/25/2018 - 9:50am Really?!

I don’t think the way he responded had ANYTHING to do with her being a female. They were down two possessions and the best free throw shooter on the team had the ball. I would imagine he told his guys to foul anyone but him. The game was over because they let him of all people get the ball. I appreciated that we didn’t have to go through the normal miserable finish to a close game.

03/16/2018 - 8:59am I think I found my mgotwin

I said almost that exact same thing last night

03/16/2018 - 12:40am These guys are insufferable

Just let it end.

03/13/2018 - 1:33pm Hasn’t this been the process all along?

This was outlined by Sam on WTKA. Ole Miss has the option to respond, and it is likely in their best interest to not give any response and just let the 10 days pass. Admitting guilt would be dumb for them. And fighting it would open a can of worms.

The only real news here is that the NCAA still has not initiated the official 10 day window. And that is even not a surprise.

03/12/2018 - 5:07pm You were just a year too early

03/12/2018 - 7:56am I don’t think this was phrased as well as it could have been

People are getting way too caught up on that wins should count the same, which they should. I think the bigger issue is that this, while not explicitly mutually exclusive, does not leave a lot of room for accounting for team growth and development over the year. And it clearly doesn’t leave room for common sense, because Michigan state should not be ranked above Michigan. I know we have the better draw and all those arguments. We grew over the year, we beat them head to head twice, once earlier in the season, we are a better team. And they seem to be using this argument as a reason to not use common sense.

03/12/2018 - 7:51am I mean

Crushing 4 top 10 teams early is kind of an unfair stipulation for that argument. I think Oklahoma vs Oklahoma state is a good example. Oklahoma played well early then were horrific the back end of the schedule. Oklahoma State was a bubble team throughout but beat Kansas twice, Oklahoma twice, and had some other decent wins in there. But just weighing record and that Oklahoma was successful during their non-conference while ignoring the big wins and head to head success of Oklahoma state is a poor use of their criteria.

03/10/2018 - 9:53pm That last 3 minutes

Was complete shit by both teams. Uncontrolled erratic scuttling by both teams. I’m hoping we take a deep breath and pull it together for overtime

03/09/2018 - 10:03am I don’t disagree

That having it in a fixed location isn’t a good solution. I’m just saying they didn’t suggest having it in a tiny town in Indiana where the actual center is. They picked a larger city. Unless it is a final four or final, I’m not flying to a basketball game. So if it’s closer to the geographic center where it is driveable, I’m more likely to go. I would say that they should aim closer to the geographic center if they want peripheral fans to travel

03/09/2018 - 9:25am That wasn’t their argument..

They did not argue for the geographical center. They argued for the major city closest to the geographical center. And that would probably be cheaper for most fans because it makes it possible for more fans to drive as opposed to flying.

03/07/2018 - 7:48am I can’t even remember who their coach is

I just know it isn’t butch jones or Greg schiano

03/01/2018 - 6:05pm Ha. People try to make it look like they follow rules?

People gave up pretending ages ago.

Arizona is probably waiting for him to end up in prison so they can say he quit and not have to pay his double buyout for firing with cause

03/01/2018 - 5:08pm Thank goodness for him

His 3s were all at huge, momentum seizing moments

02/28/2018 - 1:37pm I mean has him going first in their first round mock as well.

02/21/2018 - 9:31am Rich rod

Was just fired again and didn’t do much to wow on the field in Arizona. Hoke has had a new job every 1-2 years and each one is a step down. The fans aren’t responsible for this. Hiring guys who can’t cut it on a big stage is.

02/21/2018 - 8:43am Yeah. We are the ones bringing unnecessary hype.

Not the guy who talked about how all their goals were still on the table and they would compete for a big ten championship until they were mathematically eliminated. Dude drove me crazy. We were in clear tailspin his last season but he was talking about winning the big ten with 3 freaking bad losses.

There is a difference between lying and not having documentation. 2 Even if he had documentation, he was in a no win situation with no reason to show it. The school was looking to fire him for cause. They could either fire him and say he had documentation of threats that should have been reported, or they fire him and say he didn’t have enough evidence to support the claims.

02/14/2018 - 3:10pm He didn’t just go sign up to do this because he loves the game.

He first did his media tour and is doing this because following his media tour there is no one willing to touch him with a 10 foot pole.
