Don't know. Didn't see that

Don't know. Didn't see that the AD had done that. If they did they are wrong.  If they bring back the white jersey with the shoulder stripes just for this game, then they really are poking the bear. Not a smart move.

He not only has a full

He not only has a full department, but he is a professor too so he has TA's and students that could use some extra credit. I am sure this took an hour or two. At most.

Besides I was referring to his gameday/scheme/X's&O's responsibilities. He doesn't do much in that regard.

We wore 1990's era throwbacks

We wore 1990's era throwbacks a couple of years ago. They are not wearing them for this game.

Just wearing the combination of gold helmet, white jersey, and black pants which is our standard road game uniform. It just happens to be the same standard away uniform we wore in 1994.

FYI He does the every week

We typically get West to East flow as well, but with the mountains it screws it all up. We eventually get snow storms from all directions, the worst being from South to North, puling moisture from the Gulf of Baha.

Do they always move West to

Do they always move West to East? If so very good news, if not then still going to be worried.

CU runs kind of a hybrid

CU runs kind of a hybrid offense. We incoporate Air-Raid elements, specifically some route trees and obviously the tempo. Add that to a spread/read option type offense and mix in a decent amount of QB power and that is kind of what CU runs.

Fun Fact: Colors are officially Silver & Gold. Back around the late 40's they realized silver and gold football uniforms do not look good, and therefore introduced Black to help break up the two colors.

1) I can wear other clothes after the game

2) Its a joke and you ruined it by not playing along. Good job.

Question for all of you.

Question for all of you. Planning on what to pack for the trip this week and I want to know, what is the bigger trigger?

Red or Green?

If you look at how she runs

If you look at how she runs at Folsom Field it would make more sense. At home she runs in a horseshoe type route, meaning only 1 big turn. If she were to run at Michigan Stadium, she would have to make 4 turns and that is assuming her handlers could get her trailer to the field.

Very happy that CU is poking

Very happy that CU is poking the bear so to speak. Makes this game more entertaining. Michigan has no problem with media exposure being ranked #4. CU can use all the help it can get in that department at the moment.

It is all in good fun and I hope the teams provide a great game on Saturday.

Ya same here.

We get to take on the quacks at whoregon and you all get to take on Pedo State. Neither of those sound nearly as fun.

You are the one in the middle aren't you. You seem like the kind of person who would wear a wolverine helmet half luchador mask with team logo glasses.

I sense much upsetness. Much unwelcoming. You could learn from your friends around here how to engage in friendly banter.

No unfortunately. She only

No unfortunately. She only travels to bowl games now (hasn't travelled in a while obviously). The long distance in the trailer is stressful for her so they minimize it as much as possible. Also because your weird stadium only has a tunnel on the 50, there is no way for her to run the loop she normally runs. Just wouldn't work.

S&P uses last years finish in

S&P uses last years finish in its calculations through the first 4 weeks of the season. Colorado was NOT good last year. They appear to be much improved this season. We will see though. Our first big test is this Saturday.

Also with respect to CSU, I will mention that their offense is virtually unchanged from last year and CU's defense allowed 500 total yard (282P/218R) in 2015, while this year allowing a total of 225 yards (63P/162R). The CU defense is improved. By quite a bit. However we won't know until Saturday if that better is good enough.

#4 on Defense in an all-star and will be drafted. He plays all over the field, which allows a ton of flexibility and helps Leavitt disguise his pressures.

The big 8 was a great fit for

The big 8 was a great fit for colorado. Lots of history, rivalries, fans etc. The addition of the texas schools to make it the Big 12 changed the cultural make up of the conference. Ever since then Colorado has kind of felt like an outsider. So when the Pac-10 came calling for a second time, it was a no brainer. Much larger alumni base on the west coast, much better travel destinations, much better fit academically.

The only downside is CU made the conference switch when the buffs were at their lowest and the conference was at its peak. Thankfully things are beginning to even out.

Well I could but... Do I

Well I could but... Do I really want to?

That is where I am. I think

That is where I am. I think Michigan's size on the OL and DL eventually wear down CU. Pac-12 teams, minus stanford, just don't have that kind of size everywhere. It isn't needed in conference play.

You tell the truth. Please

You tell the truth. Please stop moving here. It is awful. Like really really bad. Seriously don't come.

CU fans are definitely

CU fans are definitely interested to see how the tempo offense travels. In the opener they ran it to perfection and completely gassed CSU in the 1st quarter. They ran it to start the game against ISU, but seemed to slow down pretty quickly once we got up 2 scores. Offense got very vanilla from that point on.

Just pointing out the record

Just pointing out the record was not completely indicative of on field performance. I will be the first to agree that at the end of the day how you played doesn't really matter, only the W's and L's do.

I would agree we are undersized at RB and ILB. But that is about it. Plenty of size and depth at WR in the 3 deep.

CU Fan here, to answer some

CU Fan here, to answer some questions and correct some misconceptions for you all.

Game 1 CU vs CSU 44-7

This game was about as far from the expectation as could have happened. The CSU offense is virtually untouched (minus Hollywood Higgins at WR) from a year ago. That offense put up 500 total yards including 218 rushing yards. Fast forward to this year, and that same offense only managed 225 total yards including 162 rushing yards which predomanately came in the 2nd half when CU had put in the 2nd string. The CU Defense held CSU to 6 straight 3 and outs to begin the game, and didn't allow a score until midway through the 4th when they were already up 37-0.

Game 2 CU vs ISU 56-7

No one will claim this was anything but a total shellacking of an inferior opponent. The CU defense didn't allow a score until a fumble late in the 4th quarter by our 4th string running back. They allowed 96 total yards of offense.

The defense is good. Potentially great. The game against CSU tells us alot based on the recent history, but it doesn't tell the full story. That won't be answered until the boys travel to Ann Arbor.

Also in regard to our Pac-12 record last season. It is true we went 1-8, with our only win coming against Oregon State. That being said we lost 4 games by 7pts or less. The problem the team had last year was allowing our opponents to put us in a 2-3 score hole before we fully responded.

other 4 losses

CU vs Oregon L 41-24, CU was actually tied at half time.

CU at ASU L 48-23, One of only 3 games CU wasn't really ever in.

CU vs Stanford L 42-10, McCafferey doing McCafferey things

CU at WSU L 27-3, Sefo Liufau was out and this was our 2nd string QB's first game. The offense was ineffective and with no support, the defense just couldn't keep up with the Pirate's team.

CU is definitely better than last year. Especially right now as we are fully healthy. Is it enough to win in Ann Arbor? Probably not. Comes down to whether or not that defense is legit. I am however expecting a close game. One that is being fought well into the 4th quarter with UM eventually pulling out a 10-14pt victory.
