One possible explanation: maybe UGA paid Fields a ton of money to sign with them? If they did, UGA would have no choice but to waive any objection to Fields’ transfer request to avoid the payment coming to light.
Carrying passengers for a fee is a very common liability coverage exclusion under most auto policies. The insurance coverage provided by the ride share company typically only provides liability coverage while you are actually transporting a customer. If you are a driver for a ride share company (e.g., Uber or Lyft), you very likely need an endorsement from your auto insurer to provide liability coverage when you are logged into the transportation company's ride share system but not actively transporting passengers. The Uber/Lyft provided liability coverage may not provide coverage while you are enroute to pick up a passenger, either.
Gaps exist between the liability coverage typically provided by your auto insurance company and the liability coverage provided by the ride share company; a ride-share endorsement is very often needed to fill these gaps in coverage.
I smoke brisket at 225 degrees; typically takes an hour per pound (e.g., 7 pound brisket smokes in 7 hours). I wrap the brisket in butcher paper when it reaches an internal temp of 170 degrees (aluminum foil works, too). I typically cook brisket to an internal temp of 195 degrees. I wrap the brisket in a towel and place it in a cooler for 30 minutes to 2 hours before serving (depending on when we're going to eat dinner).
I made the tots today with a slight twist: rolled the tot in rub, wrapped the tot in bacon then dusted the bacon with brown sugar. I've also poured a bit of maple syrup over the bacon if enough brown sugar doesn't adhere to the bacon.
Edit: I also run a toothpick through the bacon-wrapped tater tot to help keep the bacon secured to the tot and to make it easier to handle and eat.
Bruce was a GA when I swam at UM; salt of the earth type of guy and brilliant. I'm not a bit surprised at his success as a swim coach; couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!
I took several 1 hour credit mini course all of which were both interesting and easy including: "Waves and Beaches", "Earthquakes & Volcanos" and "Dinosaurs & Other Failures."

Both his parents were very accomplished UM swimmers. Geh Blau, Karl!

Pretty damn clever and funny, NF; thanks for the chuckle!

I'm 100% with you on Creature Comforts! Fighting the urge to walk home for lunch and down a Cosmik Debris and/or Koko Buni (rough day at the office).
What incredible range to hold the school record in both the 200 and 1650 freestyle.
This was a huge win. Watched the first half then did my part by turning off the tv at halftime thus guaranteeing victory for the good guys!
