I didn’t see it posted elsewhere and I don’t have enough points to start my own thread so I’ll throw it here. I’m not seeing any hardship based on these quotes to grant him immediate eligibility.

“’Dad, I think I want to go back to Georgia,’” Fields said about his initial arrival at Ohio State, per the Athens Banner-Herald. “I was comfortable there. When people do uncomfortable things, I think that makes them stronger at the end so I’m glad I stayed. It’s a credit for my Dad for just helping me out.”

I made it on gameday! Of course they cut off half of my sign but we had a great showing of Michigan fans there! Go Blue!

They’re having a contests at one of the pubs to win tickets to the Navy v ND game here in Dublin next year. Gameday is going to do a live cut to the pub and the person with the best game day sign wins tickets. Any ideas for a good game day sign?

England is a 6 point favorite. Should be an interesting match up. You have one rooting for England and one rooting for South Africa. You’re the deciding vote, who do you root for?

Shortly after they announced…

Shortly after they announced it people gathered on O’Connell and started throwing corn at each other in celebration. People here don’t care about college football. NFL has a decent following where you can actually go to a pub on a Sunday and watch the games but you won’t find NCAA on anywhere. They don’t like the fact that it takes so long to play a game and how commercialized it is compared to GAA and Rugby. Also they don’t like Notre Dame. I don’t know where ND fans get the idea they are loved here but it’s not accurate.

My wife refuses to watch…

My wife refuses to watch football with me on Saturday’s because she gets pissed at all the timeouts and that it takes 4 hours to play a 60 minute game. She’s die hard rugby and since I’ve been watching with her I’ve started actually dreading watching football games due to the time.

Joe Schmidt has an interesting lineup to start the World Cup on Sunday. Tomorrow’s matchup will be a huge match, can’t wait for that one. Would love to see Ireland carry that #1 ranking through to the end and win it all but they usually biff it in the quarters. Really would love to see anyone win BUT England.

I went 5-2 last week. Auburn ruined it for me. This week I have:

Wake Forest -17.5 v. Rice

Nebraska v Colorado +4

Wyoming -7 v Texas State

Arkansas State +2.5 v UNLV

Army +22.5 v Michigan

As you can tell from the name I’m currently in Dublin, Ireland. I now have a system that cost me $13/month for every single sports station/ Ppv plus anything else you want. I get 2,000+ mostly US and UK channels. Haven’t had a problem with buffering using a fIrestick. It took me two years to find this set up but I’m happy to share it with my goblue community. Send me a message if interested!

I for one wouldn’t be opposed to a game in Dublin. It is a strong possibility given that Aer Lingus and Aviva Stadium are signed on to do games through the 2024 season.

Where in Ireland are you…

Where in Ireland are you going to be? I live in city centre Dublin and I can tell you that you will probably not find The Game on at any pub or restaurant. You could try calling a few places like The Woolshed or The Living Room, but the reason being is that right now is when Ireland is playing their rugby test matches. Also the pubs here will sometimes play NFL games but very very rarely NCAA. You can check out the rugby match that day as the USA team is actually in town playing Ireland. Other than that you can come to my house and watch or use a VPN and stream it.
