Think I might be done with the basketball team this season. Simply too young, and no real leader. Walton never made the Burke/Stauskas leap between Fresh/Soph year, and this is killing chemistry.
I would say Barton Hills. There are some houses there under $750k, and it's a great little community of people. I get the feeling some of the older residents are beginning to die off, so there could be some deals.
Northern Lower Michigan is a really beautiful place, but I can't imagine spending the winter there. Not exactly my idea of fun, and I hate the fact that you're pretty much 3 hours minimum from anywhere else noteworthy.
It's a group of people who have the appearance of being millionaires but work some job making $30k.
Blackfinn has a lot of them, as well as always being filled with people who are in their late 30s trying to convince people they're still in their 20s.
To me, the appeal of Royal Oak is just for a couple years of single life out of college. I have a few friends there and have been quite a few times, but even I'm pretty sick of the place after about 10 nights out there.
Honestly, I don't think I'd want to raise a family anywhere in that Woodward corridor.
I live probably a 5 minute walk from where they do Hash Bash, and most years I don't even know it's going on(unless I go for a walk through, which has happened a few times).
My political views are slightly right of center, and I've been in Ann Arbor for 5 years after college now. I have more of an issue with the lack of single 23-30 year old females than I do the liberal views people hold. If you come across as any type of alpha male, the extreme left wingers cower in fear.
They decided to stay committed to the winningest program in college football.
You don't think Harbaugh could have replaced every single one of them with a player ranked higher? Frankly, they should be thanking Harbaugh for his loyalty and sticking with him. He could have told them to explore other offers.
You don't have to thank someone for their loyalty when you're giving them a free $100k education and the opportunity to play for a coach who made the NFC Championship Game his first three years as a professional.
This isn't Pop Warner football. Frankly, these guys are lucky that a coach as good as Harbaugh decided to honor their scholarship offers.
So you're basically saying everyone here is a mindless drone who doesn't get news from any other source?!?
I generally like to give people more credit than that....
Who knows, I don't spend every waking moment on this site.
However, this was reported by every news outlet like 5 days ago, and I'm sure everyone on this site has already heard it multiple times.
I had a big argument with friends about this, but Mariotta has no future as an NFL QB. Not a great arm, and that system isn't anything close to an NFL system.

This is mesmerizing.
They haven't proven anything yet. Let's thank them when they start working their asses off and win us a championship. Not just for showing up.
We are done giving participation ribbons here with Harbaugh in charge.
