I have found them to be not awful strict, I am not sure now (I now live in Florida) but in the past, the staff at RES would take the device away. I watched them take a keg from a group and admonish them, no ejections. I expect if it was a plague of issues they would toss an offender or two to send a message but, one guy one time, probably no issue.
